The contact owns a 2024 Ford Maverick. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V684000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION), and the vehicle was taken to a local dealer and the recall repair was performed; however, several weeks later the failure occurred while the contact was reversing, and the rearview camera display remained frozen. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000.
