Water leak/intrusion into the passengers side of the vehicle during a rain storm. The leak allows water to enter the car interior which causes mold to grow in the carpet. Also the area where the water enters is directly above the main fuse panel for the car. This was on a few week old car, essentially new from factory. The dealer confirmed there was a leak due to faulty component installation from the factory. The fresh air intake/cowl was defective. See attached photo for report from dealer tech.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2025 Ford Maverick Hev Early Release verdict →
