Car was parked (in covered area) when back window shattered sometime after 12pm. Car had not been driven in two days and outdoor temperature started at 62 that morning so there were not extreme temperature changes as at the time the window shattered, it was approximately 75 degrees. No apparent reason for breakage as we live in a secluded area and were nearby outside enjoying the day.

Heat blowing cold for all passengers and defrost fails to clear windshield as stated in FMVSS-103. After reviewing forums it seems that this is a known issue/common failure.
