On 3/21/2026 @ approximately 1:45 PM I was driving down a local road @ approximately 25MPH. While approaching a stop sign, I attempted to stop the vehicle, I applied the brakes and the brake pedal dropped serval inches and became hard felt like it hit the floor of the vehicle. The vehicle continued through the intersection. **There was NO warning message before the vehicle brakes failed to function as designed** There were children attempting to cross the street at the intersection, I blew my horn to alert the children, thank God that they Stopped and did not hit by the car. After the vehicle was brought to a stop there was a message Brake system failure.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2025 Chevrolet Corvette verdict →
