The contact owns a 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at 75 MPH, the panoramic sunroof suddenly shattered without warning, producing a loud booming sound. The contact's husband pulled over and inspected the vehicle before driving back to the residence. There were no other vehicles or objects nearby to cause external impact. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where a repair estimate was provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.
