THIS IS THE THIRD RECALL ON MY VEHICLE. FIRST TWO WERE FIXED. THIS ONE HAS NO REPAIR AND NO ETA IN SIGHT. RIDICULOUS.

On April 17th 2024 my vehicle received a recall update 68C regarding the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle battery. Two days later, I was driving on a major freeway in Southern California, noticed that the EV battery was not being depleted as it remained at 100%. Shortly thereafter, a check engine light came on, and the power was severely restricted. Within a few minutes, the vehicle completely lost power in the middle of the freeway and I was able to get over to the right shoulder. At this point, the vehicle had no power and I could not turn the vehicle off either regarding the electronics. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership in San Diego, and by the time it was at the dealership, the vehicle was in full lockout mode and had zero battery power left and could not even lock the doors. This caused a significant safety hazard as I was with my [XXX] child and the vehicle just completely lost power on the freeway. The vehicle is now at the dealership and they are giving me a very hard time saying that there is nothing wrong with it, but I have read that there have been many problems with this recall update. The dealership told me that the problem was a bad 12 V battery and that I needed to pay to replace that and I argued with them that that was not the problem and they are not addressing the major issue with a complete power loss on the freeway after a required software update that has known problems. Vehicle started missing at around 2000 miles, also a check engine light came on. Took it to Rick Hendrick Jeep and they ended up replacing an oxygen sensor and telling me the Vehicle was not missing even though I have OBD reports showing the engine missing. At around 7000 miles I performed the second oil change on the vehicle, when inspecting the old oil filter I found larger particles of metal in it. I took the vehicle back to Rick Hendrick and the mechanic looked at the filter that was new (only 500 miles) and said he only found glitter. The mechanic said this is normal for break in. The pieces I see in the oil filter are larger and some look like lathe shavings. I have pictures of the metal particles. So I was given back the vehicle and told it's ok. I know it isn't ok with that amount of metal in the engine and am afraid it will leave me stranded on the highway.

Vehicle shut off while driving. Luckily we were in right lane and we just drifted into breakdown lane with no power steering or power braking. These cars are unsafe 2500-4000 lb missiles going down the roadway and the government is continuing to allow them on the roadway with serious life jeopardizing known defects. The dealers point at Jeep, Jeep points to dealers, both point to Stelantis and it an endless run around. All we want is out of the lease and nobody will help. We can’t drive the car as it’s unsafe. Our dealer is trying to help and gave us a loaner car (of much less value) but we are paying a lease on a much higher cost car while driving a low value loaner, meanwhile Stelantis just ignores the request to be let out of the lease without paying the full lease value on turn in. That’s over $13,000 if we turn it in now. Stelantis says work with your dealer. The dealer says we can’t do anything until they come out with a fix. We just want out of the lease. These cars are unsafe, by their own admission, and should not be on the roadways.

While driving approximately 35 MPH on a 4 lane major roadway, the vehicle suddenly shut off in motion, resulting in a complete loss of power. This included loss of power steering and the ABS system. The vehicle effectively locked up, and a message appeared on the display instructing me to place the vehicle in park. As a result of the shutdown, the vehicle lost all propulsion and came to a complete stop in an active travel lane of a high-speed roadway. There was no ability to maneuver the vehicle out of traffic. I could not steer it to safety, restart it, or shift it into neutral. The vehicle was fully immobilized in the roadway. This left me and my family stopped in an active lane of traffic, exposed to oncoming vehicles traveling at highway speeds, creating an immediate and serious risk of collision. At the time of the incident, I had two children in the vehicle. We remained in this dangerous position until police arrived and an hour after. The vehicle ultimately had to be removed from the roadway with assistance, as it was not operable. During the event, there was a total loss of electrical power. The critical safety systems, including brake lights, were not functioning during the shutdown. After attempting to reset the battery, the vehicle continued to malfunction. It would not properly turn on or off, wouldn't shift into neutral and remained unable to be moved. This is the third occurrence of this; once was while driving at highway speeds. All warning lights, including the battery light, were illuminated. The vehicle is subject to an active recall; however, I have been informed that there is currently no available remedy . Despite this, the dealership and Stellantis advised that the vehicle was safe to operate. Given the repeated loss of power while driving, the inability to move the vehicle out of an active roadway, and the absence of an available repair, this vehicle presents a serious safety risk and I should be able to turn this vehicle in with refund.

While braking at low speed approaching a stoplight, the vehicle did not slow as expected when I removed my foot from the accelerator. As I applied increasing brake pressure, the engine revved and the vehicle continued to move forward into the intersection. The brakes appeared to be working but had to counter engine power, and the tires briefly chirped. I shifted into neutral to stop the vehicle and then backed out of the intersection. If another vehicle had been stopped in front of me, a collision would likely have occurred. The vehicle was in Fuel and Oil Refresh Mode (FORM) with Max Regenerative Braking enabled at the time of the incident. There were no warning lights or messages. I provided dashcam video to the dealer. The dealer was unable to duplicate the condition but reported that stored vehicle data showed ABS activation during the incident. The dealer has documented the event as a safety concern and reported it to the manufacturer. This appears to involve unintended forward movement or application of engine power while braking, creating a significant safety risk.

After the 68c recall the power of the electric drive is limited. Frequent power loss occurs on highway driving during acceleration (merging onto highway or passing other cars). Despite the battery being charged up to 50% there is only 25% power available. The car is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The internal combustion engine states in these cases with several seconds delay. During that time the car does not accelerate sufficiently to safely merge onto a highway or pass other cars. The power loss happens without warning during critical drive situations like merging onto a highway or passing other cars. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. This is reported by countless other drivers on all social media platform as a consequence of the 68C recall that affects 350 000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe. Jeep does not respond to customer complaints or requests for clarification.

A recall for the possibility that sand may have entered the engine during casting has been in place since November 2025. To date, Stellantis has not provided a remedy that, in my opinion, should require a complete engine replacement. I am required to travel extensively, often hundreds of miles at a time, for work, and this is my only vehicle. I am frequently on freeways with a speed limit of 65-70 mph. Knowing there is a chance my vehicle could suddenly suffer a catastrophic engine failure and fire at these speeds is absolutely terrifying, not only for me and any injuries that I might suffer, but also for the drivers sharing the road with me.

On December 10, 2025, at approximately 7:30 PM, I experienced a complete and sudden power loss while driving home. Without any warning, my vehicle shut down entirely in the middle of the road. I was unable to move the vehicle to safety, shift it into park or neutral, or regain any control of the vehicle. This left me stranded in an extremely dangerous situation, exposed to oncoming traffic and at significant personal risk. Due to the total failure of the vehicle, I was forced to have it towed to a Jeep dealership. A vehicle of this age and condition should not experience a catastrophic failure of this nature—especially one that creates such a severe safety hazard. This incident has caused serious concern regarding the reliability and safety of my vehicle. A complete loss of power while driving is unacceptable and could have resulted in a far more serious outcome. I am requesting a full investigation into this failure, a clear explanation of the cause, and immediate corrective action. Additionally, I expect Jeep to address the safety implications of this issue and provide assurance that this will not happen again. Please treat this matter with urgency. I expect prompt communication and a resolution.

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe has had multiple safety recalls. My Jeep began losing all engine power while driving down the highway, causing it to jump forward and stall back. During this power malfunction, the engine began smoking and a burning smell was emitted from the engine compartment. I was luckily close enough to home that I made it back to my driveway before it completely lost power. I was worried that it was going to catch fire and cause harm to my surrounding neighbors, so I stood outside for a while to make sure I did not need to call the fire department. I then reached out to Stellantis to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership because the issues that arose were consistent with the 78C recall. I opened a claim with Stellantis as well to have an inspector look at the vehicle but before they were able to see the vehicle, the dealership "repaired" it and said it was just a malfunctioning piston, and I could come get the Jeep. I refused, because it was still a safety risk with no fix for the recall and did not feel safe putting my safety at risk or others safety on the road at risk. Stellantis sent me a letter a week later saying the vehicle showed no signs of fire or burning and is safe to operate now. I refuse to believe this because a genuine inspection was never done to the vehicle after the incident and now Stellantis is putting my and others safety at risk by saying the vehicle is "fixed".

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is subject to Recall 78C (NHTSA #25V-766) regarding sand contamination in the engine. The manufacturer officially warns that this defect can cause 'catastrophic engine failure' resulting in a 'vehicle fire' or an 'unrecoverable loss of propulsion'. As of April 2026, the manufacturer has no available fix for this safety hazard. Simultaneously, the vehicle suffers from persistent electrical failures. Despite a repair attempt on March 3, 2026, where the 12V battery was replaced under warranty, the vehicle continues to display 'Aux Switches Temporarily Unavailable' errors accompanied by constant audible chiming while driving. These combined defects create an extreme and unreasonable safety risk. Because the manufacturer has admitted the engine is a fire hazard but cannot provide a repair, the vehicle is effectively unmarketable and unsafe for operation. I am currently grounded and utilizing a rental vehicle as I do not feel safe operating this Jeep.

Manufacturer has not remedied two safety recalls in a timely manner, and instead provided me written guidance via email stating it is safe to drive the vehicle, despite two open safety recalls which both state the issues can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning. Vehicle has had Manufacturer Recall Number A7C (NHTSA Recall Number 25V-710) since Oct 17,2025, and Manufacturer Recall Number 78C (NHTSA Recall Number 25V-766) since Nov 06,2025.

I own a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe that I purchased in September of 2024 from Charlie's Jeep in Augusta as a used car with just under 5,000 miles. Now it has about 11,888 miles and has been un-driveable since December 1 due to unresolved safety recalls. The car is a certified used Jeep and is under warranty and has two current major safety recalls, one of which does not have a solution and a fix. The first recall is for a faulty hybrid battery that can catch on fire, and the second recall is for residual sand left in the engine, which can cause a sudden loss of propulsion and/or fire. This sand can migrate to other parts of the car, so an engine replacement would not be a complete fix. Currently, the car has a "Do Not Drive" recommendation from Jeep and as a result, it has been sitting at the dealer since December 1, 2025. Because of the recalls, the value and safety of the car is very much depreciated. I have tried to work with Jeep and the dealer on a reasonable solution to no avail.

There are multiple recalls on my vehicle the 68c which was a overheating battery issue that a software update was performed but the underlying battery issue still exists and the 78c which is sand casting in the engine block which has no fix and the dealer has no remedy because Stellantis has no remedy they say it could cause catastrophic engine failure but it’s safe to drive they refuse to give me a loaner or reimburse me for a rental vehicle they also refuse to buy back my vehicle so I can get into a safe gas powered vehicle I find this unacceptable and would like you to take action against this company please help us Thank you [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

See attached document for complaint. Sir: You are aware that this vehicle has two active Recall Notices attached to it; either of which can result in a vehicle fire, sudden loss of power, and loss of life or injury. Which means that I own an expensive vehicle which cannot be safely driven. Nor can it be traded in for another vehicle in its current condition. The manufacturer does not have an available fix for 25V-766 (engine contaminated with sand during manufacturing process); and since this defect can (in their own words) " ... lead to a catastrophic engine failure ... " it is unsafe to drive this vehicle at any speed. The other recall involves defects with the battery pack, which can lead to vehicle fire. There is no available fix for this defect either. My dealer has already attempted unsatisfactorily to correct multiple problems with the hybrid power system unrelated to the recall. Is the NHTSA planning to do anything to assist the thousands of people who own hybrid Jeep Wranglers affected by these defective systems? It would seem to me that the manufacturer should be mandated to repurchase these dangerous vehicles from the owners at market value or to provide a replacement vehicle of equal or greater value. The American drivers who own these dangerous vehicles should not continue to be put at risk any longer.

JEEP Wrangler 2024 Issues PLATE NUMBER [XXX] BIN # [XXX] To whom it may concern, I would like to request a courtesy incentive or compensation due to the repeated recalls and repair situations with my Jeep Wrangler. There have been three lengthy recall repairs this winter. The extended repair times, especially when parts are back-ordered, have resulted in wasted time and additional mileage on my lease from trips to the dealership, appointments, and test drives. The electric engine issues have been particularly concerning, as the failure has rendered the vehicle inoperable on some occasions, posing a significant safety risk. There have been instances where the vehicle has completely stopped, created a dragging effect, and failed to start in winter, while experiencing malfunctions in all electric components. My fuel consumption has significantly increased over the past three months due to these repairs, and I am no longer able to effectively use the electric engine feature. The service department has been unable to diagnose the electric engine failure after multiple attempts, and as a result, the battery is being overcharged without engaging the electric motor. There have been numerous unresolved issues and repairs that have not been successfully completed. I acquired this hybrid vehicle after considering the advertising regarding its favorable fuel efficiency and the electric rechargeable engine feature. However, this feature has not been utilized this winter due to repeated malfunctions, recalls, or a combination of both. Since late November 2025, this electric engine has consistently ceased to function. Several scheduled repair diagnostic appointments were postponed by the dealer due to a busy service schedule and a shortage of staff at the repair facility. Additionally, I need to request unpaid time off from my job, as the dealer is unable to provide a loan vehicle while my jeep is being repaired. This has caused significant inconvenience and fina INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe High Altitude and a serious safety concern related to the ongoing battery fire recall associated with this vehicle. I have leased this vehicle since new and it currently has only approximately 8,200 miles. The vehicle is in excellent, like-new condition and has been very carefully maintained. However, due to the fire safety concerns related to the hybrid battery system, I no longer feel safe driving or even parking this vehicle near my home or garage. Because of these concerns, I have intentionally limited my use of the vehicle, which is reflected in the extremely low mileage. I currently lease the vehicle through Stellantis Financial Services and have approximately 12 payments remaining. When I contacted them regarding my safety concerns, I was directed to Jeep Customer Care for assistance. Given the nature of the safety recall and the fact that the vehicle is essentially new, I am respectfully requesting that Jeep review my situation for possible customer assistance. I would greatly appreciate information on whether any of the following options may be available: • Lease termination assistance • Vehicle replacement or exchange • Manufacturer buyback or repurchase review • Any other recall-related customer relief programs

See attached document for complaint. I want to love my Jeep. However I cannot. How is it that Stellantis corporation and Jeep are allowed by the applicable government agencies to not be responsible to 2024 JEEP 4xe customers for the current safety and depreciation concerns for their 4xe vehicles? The recent email offering a $100 gift card was extremely insulting. My reasons for purchasing Jeep: • Typical resale value of Jeep has been great. o History shows typical depreciation is 30% over 5 years. o My 2024 Jeep has realized 55% depreciation in one model year due to the problems and recalls. o My 2024 4xe has lost value from $62,802 to $28,000 (Kelly Blue Book) in one model year if you can find someone to buy it with the three pending recalls and no fix. • Advertised gas mileage o The window sticker indicates 49 mpg when charged. • The reality is that the highest gas mileage I have seen for the Jeep, even when fully charged, is 21.6 mpg. • Local dealer with a good history of service o Dealer cannot help because they do not have instructions or direction from Stellantis on how to manage the 4xe problems. o Service manager said a 3-week wait for rental. • Pride of ownership. o Jeep owners have a bond and tend to take pride in their JEEP. • It is not safe to park my new Jeep in my garage. • How can I protect it if It must stay outside in the elements. • Safety o Jeeps tend to be safe. However, this Jeep is not. • Battery fires- this has been a safety issue since 27 Sep 2024. • Engine casting problems that can cause catastrophic failure • Pushed software download with errors that caused my Jeep to shut off when driving without warning. • Since pushed download the radio cuts in and out. 3 My questions • Why is the NHFTSA and FTC allowing Stellantis to keep these unsafe vehicles on the road without action, besides announced recalls without a solution? • How does the EPA allow and justify the mileage shown on the window sticker that is not even close to a reality? • Where is the justice to Jeep owners for lack of safety and loss of value? • What agency is going to step up and hold Stellantis accountable for: o Risk of driving an unsafe vehicle • Battery fires • Unsafe engine casting could cause catastrophic failure • Pushed software that caused vehicle to shut off when driving o Inability to use the charging system • $12K in added cost for Hybrid when vehicle was purchased • Recall states to not charge the vehicle. o Wear and tear on a vehicle that cannot be parked in the garage. o False mileage claims o Extreme vehicle depreciation due to safety issues. In closing, I have a 2024 JEEP Wrangler 4xe Hybrid that is under recalls without solution. • I cannot drive it • It died wtien I was driving it on the freeway due to downloaded factory software and could have caused an accident • I cannot sell it • I cannot park it in my garage • I cannot get even close to the claimed gas mileage • It has lost 55% of value in one model year because of manufacturing issues Possible solutions • Return the Jeeps to correct any issues before returning and issue no-cost rentals. • Reimburse buyers for time, false mileage claims, inconvenience, and loss of value. Or • Stellantis offers a buy back for 4xe's at a fair price based on past resell

Issue type: 1.) Electrical system / hybrid battery 2.) Safety recall with no remedy My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe currently has open safety recalls (78C and A7C) with no available remedy. These recalls have been open for several months. I have been advised that the vehicle may pose a safety risk, yet I am continuing to make lease payments and rely on the vehicle for transportation. The manufacturer has not provided a repair timeline or resolution. I do not feel safe operating the vehicle and am seeking assistance because the defect cannot currently be repaired.

1. The engine in my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is subject to manufacturer Recall 78C. According to the recall notice from Stellantis, the engine may be contaminated with sand from the casting process. This contamination can damage internal engine components and lead to catastrophic engine failure, loss of drive power, or a vehicle fire. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. 2. The recall states the engine could fail catastrophically, potentially causing a vehicle fire or sudden and unrecoverable loss of drive power. If this occurs while driving, it could lead to a crash without warning. This creates a significant safety risk to me, my passengers, other drivers, and property. I am also three months pregnant so it is also putting my unborn child at risk. 3. The safety defect has been confirmed by the manufacturer through Recall 78C. My vehicle is listed as affected by the recall, but there is currently no repair or remedy available. 4.The manufacturer has acknowledged the defect through the recall notice. I currently have an open case with Stellantis regarding this safety recall. The vehicle has not been repaired because the manufacturer states a remedy is still under development. 5. There have been a few times where my check engine light comes on, but then it turns off by the time I go to the dealer. Other than that there have been no warning lights or symptoms. However, the recall indicates that catastrophic engine failure and loss of power may occur without prior warning, which is why the safety concern remains unresolved. The vehicle is currently leased and I am continuing to make payments on a vehicle with an unresolved safety defect and no repair timeline. I have also opened a case with the manufacturer, Stellantis, regarding this unresolved safety defect. Case number: 95368058. This is also the second recall that could cause a fire to the vehicle. 68C recall we did have fixed, but it's trending to be an unsafe and unstable vehicle.
