SAFETY INCIDENTS 1. Highway Limp Mode Failure — May 2026 & June 2026 While driving on the highway in summer conditions with my infant in the vehicle, the car has entered limp mode twice without warning, reducing speed to a maximum of 2mph. This left us stranded in live traffic lanes, creating immediate and serious danger to my child's life. 2. Severe Range Loss in Winter Storm — December 2025 While driving in an ice storm with my infant in the vehicle, I briefly stopped to purchase windshield de-icer. Upon restarting the vehicle, the car lost approximately 50 miles of range instantaneously, leaving us unable to safely reach home in life-threatening winter conditions.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2024 Jaguar I-pace verdict →
