On January 15 I took my car to Tasca Ford for the "10,000 check up and NYS Inspection. I was given paperwork confirming that the car was functioning properly . On January 17, 2026 my parked, unoccupied 2024 Ford mach E crashed into my parents garage door. I brought the car back to Tasca on January 19 and again was told nothing was wrong with my brakes. I then took the car to an independent mechanic who confirmed the brakes were faulty. I also received a notice in the Ford App that there was a recall for my car. I called Ford to tell them about my accident and that I needed a loaner car. They first denied the recall then told they had "No remedy" at this time I had to contact the dealership. Tasca was still denying a recall and would not give me a loaner. On February 13, 2026 the car rolled out of park and hit an unoccupied car. I now have a rental car through Geico but only for 30 days.

Sudden unintended acceleration event. I was pulling into a parking spot going very slow and lifted my leg off the accelerator when the car suddenly surged forward and crashed into a tree, a wall and a nearby parked car (no people in the car). This put my safety at risk. I was thankfully not severely hurt and had no other passengers in my car. I have sustained some muscle strains in my neck. I have reported the incident to Ford Credit and requested the data logs and investigation. My airbags were also not deployed and this seems very similar to other reports I have seen online. The police were called to the site and a case filed. There was a message flashing "parking sensors fault".

On 5/14/2025 at aprox 5:35pm I was completely stopped in traffic when all of a sudden my car started to accelerate without me pressing on the accelerator. I pressed the brake pedal, however the car continued to move forward, by this time the brake pedal was pressed to the floor and the car was continuing to more forward. I was stopped aprox 6 feet behind a semi truck, and ended up crashing into the back of the semi. The car continued to surge forward, even though my car was pressed against the back of the semi. It was at that time when I put the car in Neutral. When traffic started to move, I followed the truck, but apparently he did not realize I had hit him. I was able to drive home. There was significant damage to the front of my car. Normally I would get an alert if I am too close to the car in front of me to prevent an accident, the alert never came on. The airbags did not deploy. I was in 1 pedal driving mode when this happened, and after the incident I switched to 2 pedal driving. I have an app for my car and it does not state any accidents occurred, there are no alerts listed for this day.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-e Bev Bev verdict →
