Sudden Unintended Acceleration occurred when turning vehicle onto a roadway from a standing stop at an intersection. It occurred at night, [XXX] at the [XXX] . The vehicle was headed west on [XXX] turning from the far left lane while stopped at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] when the vehicle suddenly accelerated at a high rate of speed. The car eventually came to a stop when applying firm steady braking. There was no adaptive cruise control turned on when the event occurred. There was driver assistance activated for lane control. The car reached a speed of 60mph in a very short amount of time while heading west on [XXX] There were other vehicles on the roadway at this time, [XXX]..
