Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 CMX300, CMX500, and CL500 motorcycles. The handlebar lock screw may loosen and detach.

Risk: A detached screw may lodge between the frame and stem, interfering with steering and increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Fix: Dealers will replace the lock screw and apply thread lock, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KUO. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning March 21, 2026.

Engine And Engine Cooling · 23V261000

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Rebel 300 (CMX300) motorcycles. The right engine crank house cover was incorrectly painted, allowing the press-fit plug to fall out.

Risk: Oil can leak onto the exhaust pipe or rear tire without the plug, increasing the risk of a fire, crash, or injury.

Fix: Dealers will replace the right crank case cover, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 25, 2023. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-800-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KP2.
