What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? FACTORY TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL UNIT. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? BRAKE CONTROL INTERMITTENTLY FAIL TO WORK. NOT ABLE TO STOP 15,000 LB TRAILER. WEIGHT PUSHS VEICHLE OUT OF CONTROL. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? NEVER DOES IT FOR THE DEALER OR INDEPENDENT SERVICE CENTER AND THEY TOW MY TRAILER AROUND SEVERAL TIMES. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? DEALER & SERVICE CENTER Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? NO NO HOW DO I GET HELP IT IS A 2022 RAM 2500 BROUGHT NEW BY ME AND STARTED HAVING TROUBLE OFF AND ON SINCE THE FIRST 1,000 MILES AND NOW HAVE 26,000 MILES. The contact owns a 2022 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving and attempting to park, when the brake pedal was depressed, it became spongy and was inoperable. As a result, the contact crashed into a building and damaged the aluminum siding of the building. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with front left caliber failure and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2300.
