The contact owns a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE350. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 MPH with cruise control and Lane Keep Assist activated, the vehicle independently slowed and decelerated to 45 MPH. The contact also stated that while making a right, the vehicle was jerking to the left. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to a local dealer on multiple occasions; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted, and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the camera needed to be adjusted for the Lane Keep Assist feature to operate as designed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle was jerking excessively to the left while making a right turn. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 200. The contact noted that when on the right side of the rode, the vehicle jerks left, not when turning right.
