Today, I attempted to turn left onto Indiana State Highway 12 and as I was turning my motorcycle lost all throttle. The result of losing throttle meant I fell over in the middle of the highway. After reaching 6mph, the throttle sputtered and the traction control light flashed. Thankfully, the drivers on the highway were paying attention. If they weren’t, I could have easily died because cars travel at speeds of 50-60mph, even though the speed limit is 45mph. This is not the first time I have had this issue. On May 1, I had this issue at an intersection, but was able to avoid falling over. Unfortunately, it was not the case today. If Honda doesn’t have a fix for what I believe is a software issue, I have serious concerns about the safety of my motorcycle. This is truly a life or death situation.
