Drive Shaft Failed a second time within a year. This time they are saying the Differential stripped it this time. Both incidents i was on highway and car completed stalled out of the randomly no warning or alerts both times on interstate. BMW just provided services to my car i had front brakes replaced, oil change and open recall of starter repaired. Everything checked out to be good along with drive shaft and differential. Now they need replaced per BMW.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2022 BMW 8 Series Convertible verdict →
