Light keeps coming up for restraint warning for airbags not working properly

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while starting the vehicle, the air bag warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the onboard App diagnosed the vehicle and related the failure with the air bags knee bolster. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V083000 (Air Bags). The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
