FROM BEING STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT, I THEN PROCEEDED THROUGH THE INTERSECTION ONCE THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN. THERE WAS A STEEL CONSTRUCTION ROAD PLATE ON THE ROAD JUST BEYOND THE FAR SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION AND AS I APPROACHED IT AT APPROX 25MPH, THE EMERGENCY BRAKING WARNING SIGNAL ON THE DASH CAME ON AND THE CAR AUTONOMOUSLY BRAKED HEAVILY TO A STOP JUST BEFORE THE ROAD PLATE. THERE WERE NO CARS OR OBJECTS IN FRONT OF ME OTHER THAN THE STEEL ROAD PLATE. THIS HEAVY BRAKING RESULTED IN MY VEHICLE BEING REAR ENDED BY AN SUV. FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS HURT.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid verdict →
