The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel failed to steer in the intended direction. The vehicle twisted and the wheels locked. The vehicle crashed into a concrete curb. The contact stated that the vehicle incurred damage to the front passenger's door, and the front passenger's door panel was detached. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the failure was due to an unrepaired recall. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle had an electrical system failure, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle had been taken to the dealer multiple times; however, the repair was unrepaired. The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated while shifting into gears to pull out of a parking space, the vehicle failed to respond. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, where the TCM was replaced. Additionally, the contact stated that while reversing out of a parking space, the vehicle accelerated unintendedly. The contact stated that the brake pedal was depressed, but failed to respond. The vehicle hit a brick wall and crashed into an unoccupied parked vehicle, which then pushed an occupied vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The side air bags deployed. There was no injury sustained. A police report was filed. It was unknown whether there was property damage. The vehicle was towed to Caliber Collision and was awaiting an insurance adjuster assessment. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V148000(Power Train), which the contact related to the failure; however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated while the driver was driving at approximately 45 MPH the performance shifted activated causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle drifted and caused it to hit a vehicle in front. There was a performance shift warning light illuminated. There were no air bags deployed. The entire front end of the vehicle was damaged. There were no major injuries, but pains on the driver's back. There was no police report or medical treatment. There was no diagnosis regarding the failure. The vehicle was towed to the repair shop, which repaired the damages. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 21,000.
