Have been getting “engine malfunction power reduced” already had it repaired once. Not sure what is causing this since it was just “repaired “. New battery in place. Also has accident icons on dashboard

I changed the Air Mass Flow sensor and it’s still showing the check engine light on my dash board and giving me the same code after replacing it brand new. My brakes sound horrible after replacing both sets of brakes, front and back. The Foward Collision Warning sensor did not respond in a timely matter, resulting in a minor fender bender.

Every time I put the breaks on or go over any kind of speed bump, it bounces and sounds like warn out bed springs. Out of nowhere The volume on my radio will turn up extremely loud. Its happened more than a handful of times while driving and it scared me to the point of having to pull over to gather myself. Some days it doesn’t work at all. The past 3 months, My front passenger window gets stuck and won’t go up without me turning the car off then back on and still at times won’t work. I’ve had no choice but to leave the window down more than enough times and putting plastic over it until it decides to work again. The vehicle has been inspected by insurance, but both parties have been informed of the issue and an inspection has been taken place 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning lights or airbag system messages appeared prior to the crash. The airbag light on the dashboard was functioning normally before the accident, and there were no indications of a malfunction with the safety restraint system.

While driving my Nissan Altima in normal operation, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly stopped and applied the brakes without any input from me. Well, first, my struts are bad on the right wheel. And I've went through about 5 tires now. And I guess my wheel bearing or something is messed up too. I have a 2019 Nissan Altima SR 2.5. I have currently had the car for about 3 or 4 years now. For most of the time I have had the car, the check engine light stays on. I have had it tested, and it always states that it is the Mass Air Flow Sensor. When sitting in park idling, it will "malfunction" and state that the engine is reducing power. During this, the automatic emergency brake warning light and the VDC light will come on. It's rare that it happens while I am driving but it has happened. I recently had the vehicle checked again and again it stated that the Mass Air Flow Sensor and the Grille Shutter Actuator were throwing codes along with some other minor items. I purchased the MAFS and replaced it in hope that this would correct a lot of the idling issues, however after a few days of driving the vehicle, it again has started to malfunction and idle harshly. I do know it typically happens in the morning recently, but I was also having issues with my battery draining for no reason. This car is a certified lemon. I currently don't know what to do, as this sight states I have no unrepaired recalls for this vehicle, and I currently owe too much money to trade it in.

Engine Failure while driving. While driving on NJ Turnpike, Engine light appeared on dashboard. Car began to jerk and immediately lost speed from 70 mph to barely 15 mph. The vehicle continued to jerk then rolled to a stop. Vehicle has had regular inspections, repairs and oil changes completed. Engine Malfunction Reduce Power lamp comes on occasionally and goes off after a few minutes. A State Trooper stopped & said I may call #95 if unable to get off at next exit. No Report was made. Problem with engine failure started on 08/08/2025. Vehicle is parked, I am afraid to drive vehicle because I have to stay in Far right lane or on shoulder with hazards when driving. I have an appointment with Nissan Edison NJ on 08/10/2025 to check if my vehicle is eligible for Upcoming RECALL. There is a Recall for 2019 Nissan possibly coming the End of August 2025.

ECM is causing my car to stay in a constant Malfunction state. The problem began in April 2023 and at first was intermittent. Now it stays in limp mode. The collision and traction control indicators stay on, as well as the check engine light. Two sensor codes came up and those were changed, but now the malfunction will not allow the codes to be cleared. This puts myself, passengers, and everyone else on the road in danger because when it malfunctions, it brakes without warning. Not to mention the amount of gas the car is using. The vehicle was inspected by a mechanic who stated it was the ECM causing it. This needs to be recalled.

Please note that I have my car regularly inspected for oil changes and maintenance. The adaptive cruise control stopped working August 2022. The car displays "malfunction" on the dashboard. This was inconvenient and at first intermittent, but I did not think it was putting any persons safety at risk. I went to a local Nissan dealership in NJ and they stated it would cost $600 to replace, but no safety issues. Therefore I did not get this fixed at the time. On March 14 2023, I was merging onto a highway in daylight around 4pm. It had started flurrying, but no changes in visibility. There was no car immediately in front of me. The collision warning suddenly came on and the emergency brakes were activated while attempting to accelerate onto a 65 mph highway in NJ. It was extremely startling. It certainly could have caused an accident, especially when vehicles are accelerating to merge onto a highway. I was fortunate that there was no car immediately behind me. On April 26 and 27 2023, the emergency brake was activated again due to a collision warning while in a parking garage. The only correlation I can think that ties these occurrences is when driving from a shaded to sunny location. All three times it also occurred during acceleration. This new problem is quite concerning and dangerous.

Every time I get in my car a start to drive either forward of backing up my car dings and a message pops up ont the display that says "warning ️ Malfunction" and shows the car crash button. I have not been in any accidents and it randomly started happening a few days ago. Now I worry that my car may not sensor any objects in my path or that it could trigger my automatic break to kick in creating an accident. I have also researched online and found others who have experienced the same thing but there is no open recall on my vehicle.

08/24/22 driving on a three lane highway with no cars in front of me in any lanes, no pedestrians, animals or any obstacles going 50 mph, the car just stopped and the forward collision warning activated and the car stopped. Took the car in to the local dealer 09/08/22 where technician noted they could not replicate the issue on test drive. Dealer service pointed the issue to 12/2021 accident and wanted to charge me $2,020 to fix. Car has less than 17K miles and is under warranty.
