Circuit ; Front Recognition Camera ClAll ; Lane Keeping Assist ClAll Front Radar Sensor Incorrect Axial Gap ; BCM B124B Light Source Sensor Open/Short. The insurance adjustor totaled the car and they picked it up today. No warning lights showed up on the dash until after the accident.

While vehicle was being driven into the garage the vehicle suddenly accelerated on it own without driver pushing on gas pedal. Vehicles automatic emergency braking did not engage. Vehicle then struck steel shelving and wooden cupboards causing considerable damage to vehicle. The body shop where the vehicle was taken for repair experienced the same surging phenomena when they moved the vehicle. There were no system warning lamps visible prior to the episode. The vehicle has not been inspected by Lexus.
