Complaint Regarding Ongoing Issues After Turbocharger Repair – 2019 Honda Accord I am submitting a complaint regarding ongoing issues with my 2019 Honda Accord after a turbocharger-related repair. The initial diagnostic code associated with the vehicle was P2563 (Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance). After the turbocharger/wastegate repair, my vehicle began displaying multiple system warnings, including: * Emissions System Problem * ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) warning * Collision Mitigation System warning * Lane Departure/Lane Keeping Assist warning * Electric Power Steering warning * Stability/traction control warnings * TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) warning After the repair, the vehicle began jerking and experiencing a loss of power. Multiple warning lights appeared. While the warning lights temporarily cleared after a couple of vehicle restarts, they later returned and continue to reoccur. I subsequently took the vehicle to Honda, where I was informed that a sensor required recalibration. Despite having the sensor recalibrated, the issues have continued, and the warning lights continue to return. I am requesting that Honda investigate whether the repair, wiring, sensors, modules, calibration, or the turbocharger system itself may have contributed to these ongoing problems. I have also noticed that many Honda Accord owners are reporting similar turbocharger-related issues and multiple warning lights appearing. This appears to be a very common issue among affected vehicles, and I believe it warrants further investigation to determine if there is a larger underlying problem affecting these vehicles. I am requesting that Honda review this matter, document these concerns, and provide a proper resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Wednesday 10/01/25 I was driving to work on the highway with cruise control on, it was a empty road with nothing in front or behind me, my steering wheel got yanked out of my hands and turned all the way to the right towards the guard rail, then the steering wheel got yanked all the way to the left automatically, I did a 180 degree spin and crash my 2019 Honda Accord Touring 2.0L. I believe the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) was at fault as well as the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS). The vehicle got towed off the highway directly to a local body shop. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Mine and others safety was put at risk because the vehicle decided to crash itself potentially killing me or other people. The vehicle just arrived at the body shop and no diagnosis has been done yet. The vehicle is not drivable so the problem has not been reproduced. Vehicle has not been inspected and looked into yet, I am waiting for the body man to do a deep dive into it or I am planning on bringing it back to the dealership. There was no warning lamps present.

I bought this 2019 Honda Accord on June 30th from a company called Greenville Motor Company. July 1st, I took the car to the Honda dealership to get a diagnostic to make sure everything was in good shape. The technician I spoke with did notice the car & stated that it had a problem with the previous owner which was the Injectors. She told me that the light may not come on now but it may come on in the future. After I left the Honda dealership, I went to Greenville Motor Company & showed them the diagnosis I had done at Honda. He said he didn't see anything wrong. On July 2nd, all of my dashboard lights came on. Took it back to Greenville Motor Company, the tech there said I could pick it up July 3rd & drive it over the weekend. (basically he reset the lights so they wouldn't come on for a certain period of time).Within this time period I took it back to the Honda dealer & they told me that I also needed a turbo, they gave me the printout for that as well. Took it to Greenville Motor Company, they agreed that I did. need a turbo. Manager says he ordered turbo. I I don't remember the date I took it back but on July 12th, my dash lights came on again. I took it back to Greenville Motor Company July 14th, July 18th Greenville Motor Company called & said something on top of the turbo wasn't screwed on thats what was triggering the turbo code to show, so he never put on the turbo that he ordered I had it 2 hours & my dash lights came on again.

My car will be driving down the road and all my lights will come on and go to fix the problem and they all come back on . I’ve had the car for two years and been in the shop majority of the time . First the front senor was bumped out so none of my safety equipment on the car did not work , all my lights where lit up and check engine was blinking and went to take to Honda dealership and they said they tightened the bolts and car is running good and I picked it up and 15 miles later all my lights came on blinking , this has been ongoing and I know online the years 2018-2021 have has similar problems. I have a warranty but I want to get this checked out for others as well

Honda Sensing technologies include Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) all issues my 2019 has . The dealer states it’s multi purpose camera module is at fault needs expensive replacement and labor in excess of $ 1800

We own a Honda Accord with approximately 39,405 miles on it when we took it to the Bob Howard Honda Dealership located at 13201 North Kelley Oklahoma City, OK 73131 for repair/diagnosis on August 25, 2022. The failure of the Honda included every sensor displaying in the vehicle from emission to lane change, etc. The dealership stated that the only code they noticed was a low fuel pressure but there was no issue other than that and these new cars are sensitive to low gas in vehicles which they felt contributed to every emergency sensor warning displayed with safety issues. We picked vehicle back up and on August 27, 2022, my wife was stranded cause the vehicle just stopped and would not start again with the same codes as before. Just quit running while driving which was very unsafe for my wife. It took well over 3 hours waiting for vehicle to be towed cause HONDA doesn't have a shift release easily accessible on their ACCORD models when vehicle is unable to start and to be put in neutral cause it won't start. We had vehicle towed back to Bob Howard Honda and on Monday, August 29, 2022 they stated it needed a fuel pump which would cost around $1007.00. However, the fuel pumps are on back order with no timeframe for delivery and the warranty for this vehicle expired apparently at 36,000 miles. First off fuel pump should not have failed this soon for a brand new Honda Accord or any vehicle for that matter. This is a failure in manufacturing.

This car brakes on its own. It has done this over and over. Honda claims It has no issues dealer has always serviced it replaced things but it brakes on the freeway, its just shuts down nothing I can do. I reported when it began to happen I even filed a report and sent letter to Honda USA. It last did it a few weeks ago on an expressway near my home. First time it ever did it on the street its always been freeways. I have documented emails to dealer, Honda corporate VM. No one is helping this car is not safe. It is not a made up thing. I am filing this complaint because I just took in my 2019 honda accord to the honda service department so they can look at the issue with the sensor lights that are going off in my car. I thought it was a simple malfunction with the sensors but they came back telling me that there is a misfire issue with the engine causing the sensor lights to engage and all going off at the same time. My car only has 37000 miles on it and its less than 3 years old. I've taken the car to a 3rd party mechanic for regular maintenance work and its up to date on oil changes and all other maintenance that is required for the car. The Honda folks submitted for the warranty to cover the repairs of $4800 to replace the head gasket replacement along with the machining of the engine head. I have not gotten into an accident now have I used my car to race anyone that would cause the car to warp to that point. I think this is a defect and the Honda warranty folks are just using the excuse that I was using a 3rd party mechanic to fix this issue to avoid having to pay for the repairs. I cannot afford this repair $4800. I still have to make car payments as well as the insurance on the car for something fairly new. Can you help in any way with this?

On March 21st, 2022, I was driving between 35-40mph in clear conditions. I had adaptive cruise control, and lane mitigation on. My vehicle flashed “BRAKE” on the instrument cluster and HUD. The vehicle slammed on the brakes. The braking force was strong enough to lurch me forward and in the process of the vehicle braking, my steering wheel veered to the left and I almost hit a divided barrier. There were no cars in front of me or any obstructions in the way that would have activated the emergency braking. This is the second time in a year my car has done this, but the first time that the braking changed the vehicle’s direction.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2019 Honda Accord Plug In Hybrid verdict →
