My son had an accident where he re-ended another car that caused damage to the front of his car. The AirBags did not deploy in his car; and I beleive they should have with the amount of damage that the car sustained.

Side airbags deployed while driving for no reason/ no collision. Yes the car is available for inspection. The car was towed to a mechanic shop, while I was picked up by an ambulance. Yes my safety was put at risk as the airbags were deployed while car was in motion, knocking me out unconscious, leaving the car in motion possibly putting others at risk as well. I finally came to and was able to press the brake before any collision could happen. There were no warning signs prior. This incident caused me dizziness , headache , and with neck pain.

Vehicle: 2018 Honda Accord On [XXX], at approximately [XXX] PM, I was driving on [XXX] [XXX] at approximately 35 mph. The weather was clear and the road was dry. A vehicle ahead of me began turning into [XXX] N. My vehicle’s Collision Mitigation Braking System / automatic emergency braking system activated suddenly. The system made an audible warning sound, displayed a warning icon, and applied braking even though I did not believe there was a crash-imminent situation. There were vehicles behind me at the time, so the unexpected braking created a potential rear-end collision risk. The braking event also caused back pain, and I later experienced some stomach discomfort. I am concerned this was a false activation of the automatic emergency braking / Collision Mitigation Braking System. I am also concerned because the system reactivates after the vehicle is restarted, meaning I cannot reliably prevent another unexpected braking event from occurring. I am requesting that this be documented as a vehicle safety concern involving possible false activation of the automatic emergency braking system. I was slowing down to pull into a parking spot at my office and suddenly the car accelerated, jumped the concrete barrier and crashed into the brick wall. The car continued to actively crash into the wall, so I put it in reverse and it accelerated backward with such force that it crashed into the rear of the car on the other side of the parking lot and then spun around 180 degrees and crashed into the side of that same car. My car was terrifyingly out of control. There was a woman in another car who had just parked and luckily she remained in her car because if she'd gotten out my car could have hit her. I don't know if this is related, but I regularly used the brake hold function and pressed the button to turn it off as I was parking. My perception is that the car suddenly accelerated when I depressed the brake hold button to turn it off. I have the parking lot security camera footage that clearly shows I was braking when the car suddenly accelerated and went out of control. I had 3 hard collisions and the airbag didn't deploy. Luckily I only had some neck and back pain and wasn't seriously injured. My car and the other car were totaled. I'm incredibly disappointed that Honda didn't call me back in time to be able to inspect the car. The insurance company pressured me to settle and turn over title. I'm very angry that the insurance company says I'm at fault because I need to stay in control of my vehicle at all times, but how could I have done that when the car suddenly went out of control? Now I'm going to have to pay higher insurance rates for something that I couldn't control.

Blown Head Gasket after taking my car in to Honda cars of Rock Hill SC, I had no issues, only took it to have the Fuel injector recall done, they did a diagnostic nothing came up, they did the fuel injector recall repair, and they asked if they could do the oil change i told them yes, a week later, my car lost power on interstate 77N in rock hill south carolina. I was going about 70 mph and it dropped from 70 to 20 mph in a matter of seconds, i had little time to get out the lane, i could have been killed or killed someone else i was terrified. Every known light on my 2018 honda accord came on, I have a video of the lights on my dashboard. I had it towed back to honda cars of rock hill on 5/30/2025 and was told I had a blown head gasket...I asked them how, they just put a fuel injector and nothing else was wrong with my car. they told me cost is $5500.00, i told them there as nothing wrong with my car prior to them doing the recall, Matt told me there was nothing i did, so i asked him what did they do to my car, I need them to replace my motor who knows what other damage happened my car had no issues.

The fuel pump system in my Honda Accord 2018 Lx failed causing my car engine to turn off while I was driving on the express lane which then caused my car to spin out and slam my backside of the car into the wall. I was driving alone in the car with my seatbelt on and was able to blow my horn to alert other drivers to slow down. The vehicle was only inspected by the policer officer who arrived on scene and took notes of the incident. There was no warning lamps or messages of the problem prior to the failure. I was only cognizant of this fuel pump issue from the recall letter.

My collision mitigation braking system is automatically braking on me with nothing in front of me going high rated speeds on the interstate. I have chronic migraines and neck issues that also have been being treated on a very consistent basis. I brought it in numerous times. I have appointment documents from dealership stating these issues, with no solution. Today it happened again severely and it was harsher than normal, scaring my 3 kids. I have had enough. Winter is coming and I am not gonna challenge black ice again. I have ongoing medical conditions being treated due to the repetitive whiplash.

two weeks after I purchased this vehicle the electrical system failed causing the car to drive in the ditch, Land Rover of mount Kisco, ny sold me the vehicle, after multiple attempts to find out what was going on with it, it was found that someone had rigged the electrical wiring harness and wrapped it with electrical tape and taped it down causing the electrical system to malfunction, after that was repaired in august 2023 the car veered off the road again this time hitting a speed limit sign the damage was on the side of the vehicle but the vehicle would not move at all and all the lights were on again, the police stated where the damage is on the car it should not had caused the car to do what it was doing after I explained I was just driving along and the vehicle just went its own way, I told the insurance company about the previous issues, they repaired the car and that's it, I got the car back 24 hrs later all the lights came back on the dashboard, they still could not figure it out this was in September of 23, by December 23 the lights came back on the Honda dealership said it was the fuel pump this was because the lights came back on and the car stalled on the interstate almost causing a collision so I had to have it towed to the dealership, I paid $1300 only to find out Honda had a recall the dealership said it was the same part number and advised me to contact Honda for a reimbursement in which Honda has refused to reimburse me after to attempts, as I looked at the recalls on this car this car has had two different recalls on the fuel pump for this vehicle, that was repaired drove the car for 4 weeks the lights came on the dashboard again, I took it back to the dealership they said its the turbo booster, I am convinced the dealership who sold me this vehicle knew this vehicle was not in any condition to be on the road with a family in it, I have asked Honda to buy the car back they have refused, this car cannot be repaired.

Forward Collision Warning feature On 02/16/24 I was traveling east on I-630 at about 60 mph. While driving at that speed I saw a foreign object in my lane but I could not swerve in neither right or left lane as there were vehicles traveling in both lanes when my car hit the foreign object the object became lodged under the car dragging it at least 20 to 30 feet the car lost power myself and passenger had to push car out of road to shoulder to keep from getting killed as it had lost power and would not start. The Forward Collision Warning feature did not alert me of the object nor of the vehicle’s traveling ahead of me nor vehicles traveling in left and right lanes along side of me that I attempted to avoid hitting. I had previously filed a complaint about the warning lights and malfunctioning features on the car to dealership on 2019 2020 and 2021 I was told it could be a series of reasons why the warning lights are all on and the car features shut down even the car losing its power I was never able to get my car on the recall list for this I filed a complaint with Honda Manufacturer 2022 and was told that someone would be in touch but no one ever called I took the car back to dealership tech stated that the cracked windshield maybe the cause of the warning lights coming on so I got windshield , spark plugs, battery twice, replaced all for tires twice kept scheduled services up to par warning lights still on in-car still losing power in the middle of traffic on 01/20/24 I tried getting appt for fuel pump recall dealerships states they donot have the inventory to replace fuel pump I was told when Honda manufacturer contact dealerships giving the go ahead to repair I will l be contacted fast forward to 02/16/24 this is the result of none of features functioning especially the Forward Collision Warning feature my car now is at a loss of use it does not start the oil panel was damaged the radiator was crushed the sensor dislodged and body was damage to vehicle

After this car was repaired by the body shop, all the automatic systems in the car started flashing and no one could figure out why. It went to four different repair shops over several months, till finally they convinced me to purchase another vehicle when this one was going to be paid off in two months. This problem was well documented by several repair places , and ultimately since it was unrepairable I had to trade it in and got bottom dollar for a non-running car that I owned since the beginning and got screwed.

Braking system caused my daughter to have an accident. My 2018 Honda Accord sport has been braking on its own for quite some time now. I attempted to turn off all safety features but somehow missed the braking system feature. The car will brake on its own with nothing in front of it. It will give beeping noises and flash “brake” on the dashboard. On 10/12/2022 my daughter was on the interstate, the roads were wet with heavy traffic. She called me saying that she had an accident. The officer stated that speeding played a part in causing the accident. My daughter said the car just started beeping and she noticed she was going to slow in traffic so she preceded to get in the right lane. Upon doing so she said that my car just started spinning and she took her foot off the gas and never applied pressure to the brakes. She ended up on the other side of the road hitting a guard rail. I feel like the braking system played a huge part in this accident.
