WHILE DRIVING, VEHICLE DOORS AND WINDOW AREAS CREAK AS IF THE FRAME/STRUCTURE IS COMPROMISED OR FLEXING UNUSUALLY. MAY BE SIMPLY POOR QUALITY CONSTRUCTION OR POOR LATCHING MECHANISMS, BUT SEEMS UNUSUAL FOR A NEW VEHICLE. CAR PURCHASED NEW AND HAS HAPPENED SINCE NEW; CAR NOW HAS 3,028 MILES ON IT.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2017 Ford Cmax Energi verdict →
