The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that the low fuel pressure message was displayed, and the vehicle failed to start after several attempts. The contact stated that the failure was related to Emissions Recall: PD128. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where the engine was replaced, but the failure recurred. The dealer informed the contact about additional diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was contacted, who opened a case, but no additional assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 83,000.

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Titan. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to pull into a nearby parking lot. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart and was driven to the residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the turbocharger had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact, that the dealer was not certified to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired and was towed to Lorenzo Nissan (30501 S Dixie Hwy, Homestead, FL 33030); where the same assessment was provided. The dealer informed the contact that the manufacturer had denied the Extended Warranty coverage. The vehicle was repaired at the owner's expense. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 34,859. The VIN was not available.

The contact stated that while driving approximately 45–50 MPH and hauling 2,000 additional pounds, the vehicle experienced a catastrophic failure with the turbo and the turbo became inoperable. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The driver was able to drive approximately 4–6 MPH to the residence. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the turbo needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Additionally, while receiving routine maintenance, the lift pump failed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no additional assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 73,646.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN EXHAUST LEAK UNDERNEATH THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (ALLEN SAMUELS DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM, 201 W LOOP 340, WACO, TX 76712, (254) 848-6200) WHO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY FROM THE NISSAN DEALER. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE EXHAUST PIPE WAS SUPPOSED TO LEAK TO ALLOW CONDENSATION TO LEAK AND NO REPAIRS WERE NEEDED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE CARBON DIOXIDE LEVELS MAY CAUSE THE CONTACT TO PASS OUT AND CRASH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
