TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER SPORT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V226000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED (MITSUBISHI OF COCONUT CREEK, COCONUT CREEK, FLORIDA) AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER SPORT. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE. WHILE MERGING ONTO THE HIGHWAY, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT WITHOUT WARNING. LATER, WHEN THE IGNITION WAS TURNED TO THE ON POSITION, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO START. THE FAILURES RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT THE FAILURES COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE CONTACT LATER NOTICED THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,000.
