I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS CAR FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS NOW AND EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE VERY RANDOMLY I EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF ACCELERATION COMPLETELY. IT HAPPENS AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF DRIVING AND WHEN I'M COMING UP TO A STOP SIGN AND GOING TO ACCELERATE AGAIN AFTER DOING RESEARCH ONLINE AND TAKING IT TO MY DEALERSHIP THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM I FOUND A RECALL ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE FOR MY VEHICLE WITH MY VIN NUMBER INCLUDED IN THE RANGE OF IN NUMBERS EXPERIENCING THIS EXACT PROBLEM. I NEED HELP GETTING MY DEALERSHIP TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS BECAUSE IT IS NOT ON THEIR WEBSITE. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN REAR-ENDED MULTIPLE TIMES BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM AND I AM AFRAID FOR MY SAFETY

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer verdict →
