TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 LEXUS NX200T. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE PRE-COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM WOULD ERRONEOUSLY ACTIVATE, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ABRUPTLY STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (LEXUS OF HUNTSVILLE IN HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. COMPUTER PRINTOUTS CONFIRMED THAT THE AVOIDANCE SYSTEM HAD ACTIVATED ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200. UPDATED 10/18/17*LJ *TR

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2016 Lexus Nx200t verdict →
