Symptoms of failure was present prior to complete failure. At highway speed, vehicle sometimes resisted steering input. At 20-30mph, steering wanders side to side and fights my steering inputs. When complete failure occurred, steering became difficult at low speed, parking situations. No warning or error message on dash. Vehicle was towed to dealer where they determined the electric motor on the steering rack suffered an internal failure. When disconnected from power, the steering rack was smooth, albeit unassisted. When connected to power, the steering rack was stiff and difficult to turn. It was determined that the electric motor resisted steering input rather than assist. Steering racks used by a range of Jaguar Land Rover products in this period also suffered similar internal failures.

I have been encountering a persistent issue with the engine, which exhibits symptoms of underperformance, occasionally necessitating a complete stop. Additionally, the ABS warning light activates intermittently without providing any diagnostic codes before subsequently disappearing. A recent diagnostic check identified several minor concerns. I've also observed a degradation in the vehicle's handling characteristics, paired with a "Stability Control No Longer Available" warning message. I have ruled out a fuse-related issue, as all fuses have been assessed and found to be functional. Furthermore, my vehicle seems subject to additional recall considerations. Reports of stability control failures have emerged in various Jaguar models, including the F-Type, typically attributable to sensor failures or malfunctions within the electronic control module. Common culprits for these stability control issues include faulty wheel speed sensors or problems with the ABS control module. Such malfunctions frequently trigger warning lights, suggesting compromised efficiency in the stability control system and its associated subsystems. This instability resulted in me temporarily losing control of the vehicle, culminating in a 180-degree spin and subsequent collision. Reports online: AI Overview Reports of stability control system failures in certain Jaguar models, including the F-Type, stemming from faulty wheel speed sensors or ABS control module issues, could potentially increase the risk of an accident. Here's why: Compromised Stability and Traction: The stability control system (DSC in Jaguar) helps maintain vehicle stability by detecting and mitigating loss of traction or skidding by adjusting engine power and applying brakes to individual wheels. When it malfunctions, you may experience difficulty maintaining control, especially during sharp turns, evasive maneuvers, or on slippery surfaces, potentially leading to skidding and loss of control.

FOLLOWING "REPAIRS" AT THE DEALERSHIP ON COOLING SYSTEM, CAR NOTIFIED ME OF OVERHEATING HALF WAY HOME WHILE ON HIGHWAY. AFTER NEARLY CRASHING AND BEING HIT IN TRYING TO PULL OVER TO STOP THE VEHICLE, I OPENED THE HOOD TO FIND THE COOLENT LINES HAD BEEN SHAVED AND REPAIRS IN OTHER AREAS VERY POORLY DONE. CAR CONSTANTLY IS LEAKING COOLANT AND OIL. I HAVE ALSO REPLACED THE BATTERY 4 TIMES AND THE CAR REQUIRES DAILY JUMP STARTING. THE CAR PAINT INDICATED A REPAINT JOB WHEN DEL8VERED TO ME WITH 100 MILES OF IT. AFTER CLAIMING TO HAVE REALIGNED THE TIRES AFTER MY FRONTS WENT BAD AFTER 5000 MILES, I DISCOVERED THAT THEY HAD NOT BEEN BALANCED NOR ALIGNED. I LEFT ONE WHEEL NUT LOSE BEFORE SERVICE ON EACH TIRE AND EACH WAS STILL LOSE AFTER. JAGUAR HAS DEFRAUDED ME ON MULTIPLE LEVELS, THREATENED ME FOR USING A OB2 CAR CODE READER AND GENERALLY COMMITTED MULTIPLE CORPORATE CRIMES FOR WHICH I AM SEEKING SIGNIFICANT ACTION. I AM BASED IN NASHVILLE. DESPITE 23 TRIPS TO THE DEALER IN 5 MONTHS, JAGUAR BLAMED ALL THE CARS PROBLEMS ON NON EXISTENT MODIFICATIONS THEY ACCUSED ME OF INSTALLING WITHOUT WARRANT AND CONTRADICTORY TO WHAT THEIR OWN SERVICE MANAGER NEW TO BE FACT.
