The reason for recall is, a driver’s-side front airbag inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death. It has been 5 months and the manufacturer has no current plan in place to replace the driver’s airbag module. After speaking with a GMC Customer Assistance Center representative today, 11/17/2023, I was told that there is no estimated time when the repair will be available. Based on the possibility of death, five months and no plan for when a repair/replacement will be available feels negligent and as though the repairs are not being completed in a reasonable time.

I want this issue remedied immediately. I have contacted numerous employees and service places and nobody can repair the air bag. I want my vehicle replaced!

I already paid $2,500 in misdiagnosed problems and now they want me to pay another $3,725. I don't have my bills to upload because they're in my glove box and my car is with the dealership.
