wheels such as automatic and manual transmissions, transfer cases, fluid cooling/management systems and related hoses and pipes, electronic control units and software, shift lever/gear control and indicator devices, clutches and torque convertors, drive axles, hubs, i have my service system report from the diagnostic. I've called the manufacturer they said they could not do anything.i have to go get my police report again i lost it mam ive gotnmy other paper work until then thank you i have been having problems with these people please help me god bless

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while the daughter was driving approximately 65 mph, the transmission erroneously down shifted causing the driver to lose control of the steering and crash into the center median causing damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle. During the crash no injuries were reported and no police report was taken. The contact indicated that prior to the incident the vehicle had experienced rough shifting. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who diagnosed that the powertrain control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered.. The failure mileage was 63,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE FRONT OF THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE IMPACTED THE RIGHT REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE WITH THE FRONT LEFT AND STATED THAT THE WHOLE FRONT SHEARED OFF, CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO GO INTO A SPIN. THE VEHICLE IMPACTED A STREET SIGN. AND SIX UNIT MAILBOX STATION WHICH CAUSES THE STREET SING TO COME THRU THE REAR WINDOW OF THE VEHICLE BROKEN THE GLASS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED SEVERE BRUISES FROM THE SEAT BELT, ARM NECK, BACK INJURIES AND HAD TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE FRONT PASSENGER ALSO SUSTAINED NECK AND BACK INJURIES AND WOULD SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE OTHER DRIVER DID NOT SUSTAINED INJURIES, THE CONTACT MENTION THAT THE DRIVER DECLINED MEDICAL TREATMENT AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT MENTION THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE SHOP FOR TRANSMISSION AND POWER TRAIN FAILURES SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATED AND WAS REPAIRED OF UNKNOWN RECALLS FOR THOSE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO GEICO INSURANCE SALVAGE YARD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 52,288.

OUT OF NOWHERE IT WAS STRUGGLING TO GO INTO DRIVE GEAR AND THE REVERSE GEAR AND THEN I WAS JERKING REALLY BAD WHERE MY DAUGHTERS HEADS WE'RE HURTING BECAUSE OF ITSO I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP IN RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA AND THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME NOW $3,000 AND THEY HAD IT FOR MORE THAN A MONTH NOW AND I AM ABOUT TO LOSE MY JOB BECAUSE OF THE SITUATION WITH THIS CAR FORD IS SAYING THAT THEY WOULD PAY FOR MY RENTAL BUT IT'S STILL BEING CHARGED TO MY CARD WHICH I AM BEING OVERDRAFT FOR AND I'M COMING IN MORE IN-DEPTH AND DEBT BECAUSE OF THIS CAR I AM A SINGLE MOTHER TRYING TO PROVIDE FOR MY CHILDREN ALL ON MY OWNTHIS IS UNACCEPTABLE OF FORD AND THIS SITUATION HAS CAUSED ME TO GO INTO AN ACCIDENT AND I END UP HITTING ANOTHER CARTHIS TRANSMISSION ISSUE SHOULD NOT BE AN EXPENSE I SHOULD BE PAYING FOR OR BECOMING IN DEBT FOR FORTUNE BE FULLY LIABLE FOR THE SITUATION

GEAR SIFTS IN NEUTRAL, MY CAR HESITATED IN A CROSSING AND MY CAR WAS HIT IN THE BACK DOOR. .THE CLUTCH SLIPS IN NEUTRAL, FORD USES DRY CLUTCHES IN THIS CAR FOR EFFICIENCY, BUT WET CLUTCHES WOULD BATHE THE FRICTION DISCS. FORD ISSUED DOCUMENTS WITH THE PROBLEM CODE DPS6, AROUND THE WORLD THEY HAVE HAD CLASS ACTION SUITS PERTAINING TO THIS PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE STALLED DURING A LEFT TURN INTO THE RIGHT LANE OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND WAS HIT AS A RESULT. THE VEHICLE WAS DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN TAKEN TO FORD PREVIOUSLY DUE TO CONCERNS OF STALLING/SLUGGISH ACCELERATION AT WHICH TIME THE DEALER DISCLOSED AN ISSUE WAS KNOWN THAT WAS MOST LIKELY THE CAUSE. THE DEALERSHIP KEPT THE CAR AND PERFORMED REPAIRS. THE ACCELERATION SEEMED A LITTLE BETTER BUT STILL NOT RIGHT BASED ON DECADES OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE. I THINK THE CPV ISSUE (18S32/18V-735) MAY HAVE CAUSED THE CAR TO STALL AND BE HIT WHEN IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HIT OTHERWISE.
