MOTORCYCLE GOES INTO 'LIMP MODE' DISPLAYING A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. HAS OCCURRED AT IDLE BUT OFTEN OCCURS AT SPEED (30-75MPH). ENGINE RPMS ARE STUCK AT APPROXIMATELY 2,000RPM. CODE READER DISPLAYS A STORED CODE OF 'THROTTLE VALVE 1 COMPARING ERROR'. THE ABRUPT ERROR CAUSES VEHICLES TO COME DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO REAR OF MOTORCYCLE WHILE TRYING TO PULL OFF ROAD. WILL SOMETIMES RESET ERROR AFTER CYCLING POWER.
