TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 BMW G650 GS MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TAKEN TO CYCLE CENTER OF DENTON (521 ACME ST, DENTON, TX 76205) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DESCRIBE THE FAILURE EXPERIENCED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT FAILURE RECURRED WHILE DRIVING HOME AT 65 MPH. THE CONTACT CALLED THE SAME DEALER TO INFORM OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED HE WOULD RECEIVE A CALLBACK IF INFORMATION RELATED TO THE FAILURE WAS FOUND. THE CONTACT LINKED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V689000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,272.
