On 4/6/2026 At about 2:30 p.m. my son [XXX] stated that he started the car and was in the process of driving out of the parking lot when he saw smoke coming thru the vents in the car. My son [XXX] stated that he got out the car and opened the hood and the car was on fire. [XXX] stated that he called the fire department and they came and put out the fire. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS DESTROYED BY A FIRE. THE CAR WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED WHEN A DOORMAN NOTICED THE PROBLEM AND CALLED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. SFFD EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE.
