My daughter was in an accident where she struck another vehicle. She was traveling between 35-40 mph. Her airbag did not deploy. Her face and chest struck the steering wheel. She suffered a concussion and whiplash.

Air bag light began blinking. I brought it to a nissan dealer for service and that have replaced and charged me for multiple parts in excess of $2,000.00. They stated my car was ready and repaired. Upon picking up my car the light was still blinking. They stated it's additional parts and cost to finish repair but if I wanted the car for the weekend I can have it and return when the parts come in. They were going to give my car back to me with a defective air bag system which I feel is extremely unsafe. They also damaged my front bumper which they had to repair. I don't feel they changed out some parts they charged me for. The car has been with them for repair since 08/22/2024. Nissan is not standing behind their product or safety.

Collision into heavy BUS that crossed my path. Nissan totaled, airbags failed with high speed crash 55 plus mph with injuries. The passenger seat airbag light always stayed on since purchase. Nissan doing all they can to get out of the situation. Lots of excuses. Turned issue over to my insurance company to try to resolve with Nissan.

DASHBOARD AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT BEGAN FLASHING RANDOMLY IN NOVEMBER 2018. WHEN FRONT PASSENGER WAS PRESENT. I SCHEDULED SERVICE WITH DEALER PER MANUAL AND TECHNICIAN CLEARED CODE. AIRBAG SENSOR WENT OFF YESTERDAY 2/16/19 SAME ISSUE WHEN FRONT PASSENGER WAS SEATED AGAIN. DEALER STATED ISSUE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. THEY SAID IT WAS A $1000 FIX???? I MY HUMBLE OPINION THIS IS A CATASTROPHE SAFETY CONCERN AND ASKING CONSUMER TO FIX IS ABSURD AND SHAMEFUL.

PASSENGER SENSOR LIGHT COMES WHILE DRIVING THEN RESETS WHEN ENGINE RESTARTED. THIS HAPPENS A COUPLE TIMES THEN AIRBAG LIGHT IN CONSOLE STARTS FLASHING PERMANENTLY. THE PERSON SITTING IN THE SEAT IS EASILY 250 LBS SO IT MUST BE A SENSOR IR EVEN ISSUE. HAD A DEALER CHECK IT ONCE AND NO ERROR CODE SHOWS UP

TAKSTA RECALL . ADULT IN PASSENGER SEAT . AIRBAG DOES NOT IDENTIFY ME IN PASSENGER SEAT. AIRBAG CHILD SAFETY LIGHT STAYS ON. AS BEING A LIGHT WEIGHT PERSON UNDER A 100 LBS DO I NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE A WORKING AIRBAG? HOW DO WE RESOLVE THIS.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 Nissan Frontier verdict →
