Purchased new 2015 MB e400 in 12/2014 MB issued a bulliten in 12/15 (1 year later) indicating that the engines may experience a problem with the timing belt harness which may cause engine failure. We have the exact same issue now at 69k miles and MB refuses to acknowledge the issue claiming i need a new engine. I cannot use the car for fear of engine failure which may cause death or serious injury

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 Mercedes-benz E-class Wagon verdict →
