The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, unattended the vehicle caught fire without warning. The contact was able to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries. The vehicle was towed to an independent lot. The contact called the local dealer but, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 119,925.

MY TRUCK ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS WAS DRIVING THAN IMMEDIATELY LOST POWER AND SHUT OFF AFTER SENDING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEM REPLACING THE THROTTLE BODY IT WAS STILL DOING THIS WITH A RATTLE NOISE. IT GOT TO THE POINT WHERE MY TRUCK AT 52,000 MILES DID THIS EXACT THING AGAIN AND BLEW WHITE SMOKE AND A HOLE NOW IS IN THE OIL PAN.

TRUCK HIT A UTILITY POLE IN THE MEDIAN WHILE TRAVELING WEST ON BARBARA JORDAN BLVD AT LANCASTER DR. IT SPUN AROUND, AND LANDED ON THE EAST BOUND SIDE OF BARBARA JORDAN BLVD AT LANCASTER DR. THE AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 FORD F-150. AFTER 15 MINUTES OF BEING PARKED IN A PARKING LOT, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE AROUND THE FRONT END. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
