ON SEPTEMBER 30TH, I DROVE HOME FROM WORK WHICH IS A 22 MILE COMMUTE. I ARRIVED AT HOME AT APPROX 8PM AND PARKED MY CAR IN THE GARAGE. AT ABOUT 8:40 I HEARD A LOUD BOOM BUT WAS UNSURE WHERE IT CAME FROM. ABOUT 10 OR 15 MINUTES LATER I HEARD THE FIRE TRUCKS AND A NEIGHBOR BANGING ON MY DOOR. BLACK SMOKE WAS COMING THROUGH THE LOCKED GARAGE DOOR. THE FIREMAN UNLOCKED AND OPENED THE DOOR, THE ENGINE AND STRUCTURE WAS ON FIRE. IT TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO PUT IT OUT.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 Dodge Challenger Srt (driver) verdict →
