there have been recalls to other chrysler 200 for these reasons. I am having issues with all of these and no recall. Steering linkage or strut issue The electrical goes out on the dash and console of the car. cannot use air or any of the buttons Warning light to check gas cap Power terrain was fixed once and it came back the same way Tire pressure also not working

The contact merged to the right lane and the vehicle stalled and lost electrical power. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The contact was able to jumpstart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the engine oil was replaced. However, the failure reoccurred while driving. The contact stated that she was able to restart the vehicle five minutes later. The contact then drove the vehicle to her residence. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

While vehicle is in driving mode it shuts off. I complained to East Hester chrysler 3 months ago and they were unable to diagnose the issue. It was doing it at least 3x a week, now it's happening daily and it has happen on the highway 2x which was a scary moment. I need some assistance, I notified Chrysler corporation and they reported the situation and refer me to a chrysler service center. I read that there has been a recall on my vehicle for the same situation (stalling while driving) I am having my vehiclencheck now at Central Ave Chrysler to see what they find. I hope the issue can be fixed and corrected and if there is a recall for this issue please help me. Thank you

Ok this model has 8 recalls and I've only received one. My airbag indicator has been on for awhile now. See they have had recall for seat change. Which is my indicator picks up when i move my seat a certain way. My car drives be itsself in the acceleration. The intake is throwed. My radio just stopped working on its own FOR NO REASON. After that use to make this noise on its own even when car was off to try to come back on but it didn't. Electrical recall and whole middle console doesnt work. (Something sbout a usb update) Now my car goes dead over night and I have to jump it to start. Battery, starter and alternator is fine. This ridiculous at this point. Ive had 1recall resistly but have all these problems and see there is a total of 8. This things need fixing asap.

Let me start by saying I was in love with my 200S but lately she been acting up. 1) I was driving on multiple occasions now when I’ll hear a chim sound(Warning light with nothing laminated on the dashboard) car loses all power and shuts off completely no matter where on the freeway and surface streets 2mins later car starts up. The latest incident came a week ago when I was pulling in a drive way car shut off completely while traffic was coming almost causing a major crash (Thank God Nobody didn’t get hurt) other motorists got out to help push it to safety. There’s been multiple occasions while driving the car starts shaking bad as if it’s going to stall check engine light comes on..I pull over scan for codes nothing pops up ,I then check connectors and fluids etc unscrewed the gas cap Redo it ,car starts up I drive home safely (No more stalling feeling or bad shaking) Mechanic run diagnostics No Error codes appear . 2) Airbags senor come on and off for no reason which scares the heck out of me to drive it not knowing if they’ll actually protect me or not if I need it too. It’s been almost 2 car payments since I drove it.Due to safety fears because I travel with Kids 3) it’s hard to pick up speed when trying to accelerate My car is now at 99K miles and I have been going through these issues probably since 73K miles

Body control module wasnt working took it to the dealership did a diagnostic and it said body control module needed replaced we paid to buy this part and to have it put in and it still didnt work i have the receipts for this the dealership then wanted us to pay for more dignostics and parts and still isnt working there is a recall on this just want my car to be fixed and running properly and be safe on the road.still a problem with the vehicles high communication which tells me if its not communicateing the part to the vehicle theres a problem in the electrical . there should be nothing going wrong the car is only 7 years old .I have been trying to get to the bottom of this the dealership Grand Bay Area jeep chrysler has been of no help what so ever .2 recalls already campain #15V470000 recall #R24 And campaign #14 V480000 RECALL#P43. And on7/23 for an exploytation of the software and the antilocking brake system is not working properly. This whole situation is not good I desperatly need help all of these problems are safety issues

My car is not shifting correctly after the recent recall for a software update. My engine light came on the very next day. The problem happens mostly on the highway as I try to accelerate. My car runs between 3500-4500 RPMs on the highway unless I am going downhill. I have to keep letting off the gas in order for the car to shift. I am not entering the highway at a safe speed because my car will not go. I am afraid this is going to cause a wreck. I am not sure if this is along the same problem, but my remote start stopped working correctly at the same time. I can start it with the remote, but it will only stay on for about 10 seconds, this is also NOT due to being low on gas. I called the dealer about this issue but they want to charge $150 to even look at the car.

upon taking my chrysler 2015 200 limited 2.4L in-line into BAY AREA CHRYSLER dealership to figure out why my car wasnt running correctly they it on their diagnostic they said it needed a body control module which the dealership put a new one charged me 199.20 to put it in plus the $376.35 for the module that was ordered which I paid .when I picked up my car it was parked with the ignition on and walked off with the key fob.after paying for another 200 $ for a new key fob I was told the new part didnt work.so now the center stack which controls the radio the heater /air conditioner controls screen off on selecter knob and parking brake do not work so im wondering if the electrical recall or failure of the dealership to do their job

I tried talking to Chrysler but they were no help. They have had a power failure recall but I was told that based on my vin number, didnt affect my vehicle. Intermittent power steering failure. I replaced the battery, I replace the rack and pinion and it’s still doing the same thing. $2300 down the drain. You can be driving and loose the ability to steer the vehicle. There are tons of complaints about this and they all say the same. They have replaced major parts and the issue persist. When speaking to crysler over the phone, they said that the replacement of the rack and pinion would fix the issue. The car just dangerously shuts off without warning while driving in traffic. The Battery is new, and all fluids are full. This is the second time, in less than a month, that this dangerous shutdown has happened. Both times being while the car is in motion. This time, the car will not crank back up.

Sometimes it shifts into neutral, my radio shuts off periodically and my seat fills a lot thinner then the passenger seat. This car is shutting off and losing power while driving putting me as well as other motorists in danger due to this occurring without warning and under any rate and direction of motion. I have loss power causing my emergency brakes to initiate causing the car to immediately stop. I was crossing an intersection when the car shut off. Yesterday, I was entering an entrance ramp onto the freeway and my car loss power, and the only time I was happy to have the police behind me because they blocked traffic so I would not get hit while trying to restart my car. The first time this occurred was April 2019 when my car lost power while I was driving on a high rise bridge during a storm causing the car to hydroplane back and forth against the railing. I was able to restart it and turn the hazard lights on so I would not get hit. But this accident injured me causing me to undergo months of medical treatment. Even after telling the insurance company about the power loss during the accident and even after the car was repaired from the accident then returned to me, it still was losing power. They took my car back and told me after inspecting it again, it was the battery and they replaced it. This was never taken serious when I was injured and could have died that day and many other days since. They did not check to see if it could have been a recall issue. Now I am experiencing this problem multiple times a week, and unless this is done by the manufacturer, it will not be corrected, putting us all in danger or leaving me without transportation because I have no faith I will be safe to continue to drive this car that I still have a year and a half of payments left. This is my families only transportation.

I am receiving a sign stating “warming engine wait to start” the car does not start. When I apply gasoline it stalls to start. While driving the car shuts off in traffic. I’ve been to car shops who refer me to go to Chrysler because they can’t fix the problem stating “it is an electrical problem”. I’m am afraid that this could harm my passengers and I especially my child. Car randomly stall and shuts downs when driving. Sometimes it will turn back on right away, sometimes it completely dies in the road and it has to be towed since everything shuts down. Unable to put it in neutral and push it, or roll up any windows. Before it happens traction control will flash very quickly, other times when it has completely died the power steering warning comes up quickly. I have taken it to the dealership but it doesn't throw a code so they keep telling me they can't do anything about it. There are many articles online about it, but nothing is being done as far as recalls.
