I was driving down the road and my car stalled and completely shut off power steering went out as well come to find out it had a recall for the issue but cannot seem to see if it was ever fixed and can not see that it fixed or not or if it would be covered under the recall as it was recalled in 2015

I had to get towed and the vehicle is now at the dealer; they won't be able to take a look at it until 5 days after the occurrence.

The failure mileage was approximately 128,000.

The contact was then informed that the VIN was included in the Manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Number: W84 (Powertrain Software update). The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

My car cut off right as I was stopping at a stop sign. It wouldn't even let me turn off the car to try and restart. I couldn't steer the car either. It took a minute and then I was able to turn it off and then restart it. By the time I got to the third stop sign it cutoff again. The second time around it read to shift to park before restarting. Thank God I was in my subdivision! There was no warning or check e gone light on either. Please help! More importantly my airbag light is on again. I've even had my airbag replaced by Chrysler last year. This had been a recurring problem since I bought the car. I reported it back in 2016 as well. My car is a 2015 and should never have had the airbag problem. Please help! I hope and pray this get to someone that takes safety seriously! This is my only car and I transport my children in it.

The seals on the bottom of the oil filter adapter housing failed, causing oil and coolant to leak out of the engine. The safety of myself and others is put at risk because if enough oil or coolant leaks out, engine overheating or failure will occur, possibly while the vehicle is in motion. The problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. It is a widely known issue with the 3.6L Pentastar engine and is well documented in 100s of videos on youtube by third party mechanics, dealer mechanics, and DIYers. My vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, as it is out of the warranty period. Warnings include low coolant and low engine oil. The skid plate under the front of the car was also soaked, causing puddles of oil and coolant to form underneath the car onto the ground.

Mechanic could not figure out where oil was coming from, nor why it was in my reservoir. While checking vehicle it started overheating badly and mechanic severely burned (injury)! Find that it is the oil filter housing/oil cooler. This is a serious hazard. It’s bad enough the vehicle continues to stall out and has even stall out while on the highway. Vehicle still in shop. Will not be buying another Chrysler ever.

This car is totally unsafe and is going to cause serious injury. When initially trying to accelerate this car jerks uncontrollably and doesn’t go. It stalls something serious then all of a sudden propels itself forward into traffic!!! Making other ppl swerve around me frantically. I can’t come to a complete stop at a stop sign then go when it’s my turn without the car talking a big stalling leap of death. Not to mention when coming to a stop it often cuts off due to something being wrong with the oil system causing it to burn too much oil. I’ve never had a car that I had to put oil in continuously even though my oil changes (via Chrysler) are on time. Horrible thing is Chrysler says they know the car does this but won’t FIX IT!!! This lemon is going to take me out.

The front belly pan became completely soaked in oil and was dragging under the car. Once the car was taken apart by the tech it was discovered that the oil cooling house (68105583af) was cracked.

Car stalls when starting from a stop. If the outside air temperature is below 50 degrees F, it seems worse. There are no warning lights, no codes...it just stalls out. It will usually start after trying once (It takes at least 20-30 seconds of trying to start before it does). I was pulling from a redlight to a 4 lane road when it stalled. I had no where to go. When I first purchased the car, I took it to the dealership 3 times, they said it was a transmission problem at first, then spark plugs, and the third time they couldn't find anything.
