DRIVER SIDE REAR BRAKE PAD RETAINER DEFECTIVE. PART IS MADE SO THAT THE BRAKE PADS DO NOT MOVE SO THAT YOU GET SEVERE PAD WEAR, SAME AS IF YOU HAD A FROZEN CALIPER. DEALER DID NOTHING TO FIX IT. MY BROTHER HAD A 2016 AND THE OTHER SIDE DID THE SAME THING. I ALSO NOTICED MY FRIENDS 2019 BLAZER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. CAN'T FIND ONE TO REPLACE IT SO I GROUND THE ENDS OF THE PADS SO THEY COULD MOVE FREELY. OTHER INDICATION IS SPONGY FEEL STOPPING THE CAR. I WOULDN'T BE WRITING THIS IF THE DEALER FIXED THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. BOB JOHNSON OF ROCHESTER IS THE PLACE. PROBLEM VEHICLE NOT STOPPING PROPERLY

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 Chevrolet Traverse verdict →
