Dec 30, 2017BrakesCrash1 injury

I WAS DRIVING ON I-95 AT PACE WITH TRAFFIC, NO SPEEDING AND THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME ABRUPTLY HIT THE BREAKS. I WAS 3 TO 4 CAR LENGTHS AWAY. I HIT THE BRAKES BUT WAS NOT CONCERNED BECAUSE I HAD PLENTY OF DISTANCE AND THE CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH ABS BRAKES. AS I HIT THE BRAKES, IT SEEMED LIKE THE CAR WAS NOT SLOWING DOWN EVEN AS I PRESSED HARDER AND THE ABS BRAKES NEVER KICKED IN. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE LANE AND WAS UNABLE TO SWERVE WITHOUT CAUSING A MAJOR ACCIDENT. MY ONLY OPTION WAS TO HIT THE CAR DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME. THE CAR I HIT SUSTAINED A SCRAPED REAR BUMPER NO OTHER DAMAGE.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 BMW 328xi verdict →
