ON JUNE 21 I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR MY 2014 PORSCHE PANAMERA, FOR A DEFECT WHICH COULD CAUSE IT TO CATCH FIRE WHILE PARKED. PORSCHE NORTH AMERICA HAS NOT YET ISSUED A FIX AND CAN PROVIDE NO FORECAST OF WHEN THE FIX WILL BE AVAILABLE. WITH SUCH A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY CONCERN, THERE SHOULD BE MORE PRESSURE ON PORSCHE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2014 Porsche Panamera 4 E-hybrid Executive verdict →
