TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 LEXUS GS 350. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO NEARLY 100 MPH ON ITS OWN. THE CONTACT HAD TO HIT AN OBJECT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT IT COULD TAKE THIRTY DAYS TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,200.
