This vehicle had multiple reprograms for transmission control module and still had same issue I have only had the vehicle 1 year and driven it 7k and I take. It to Jim Browne jeep dealership they said they transmission control module needs replacement the jeep when I brake jumps forward and speeds up its unpredictable and unsafe it also does not shift into gear it slips and I did a search and see. This has been a reoccurring issue .As well as my back up camera appears while I am driving and parked ,or screen just says jeep or goes blue unable to change dash supply control at all ,this vehicle is a lemon and we were not told of any of these issues

The vehicle experienced a catastrophic failure of the brand new CV half shaft while driving. Spline shear. Loss of Drive function, loss of Park function. Our local garage said the vehicle was the correct for make, model, and year for this to be a W47 recall issue. When we searched NTHSA with the vehicle VIN, which returned Zero open recalls. After researching the W47 recall, we called the manufacturer. They documented our VIN and details of our case in two departments and gave us the reference numbers: #92987492, and #92987905. They told us the next step was to bring it to NTHSA a file a complaint report about the VIN not being included in the recall and to include the reference numbers in the complaint form. We have nothing physical to scan or upload. Just those two reference numbers from the manufacturers.

I was on my way home from Alpharetta from a business meeting and my car started to shake really bad on the front. I thought it might have been something my tire caught. But I just put 4 brand new tires and not one light was on on my dash board there have never been any lights come on my dash board since I've had the vehicle. I drove about 10 more mins and it got worse so I pulled over and parked. I couldn't see anything. I was an hour away from home. The next day after getting my vehicle home. I was told that the ignition coil was catching fire as i was driving it. I also have the video in my phone. The car was literally trying to catch on fire and I was told if I would have kept driving it and not pulled over my car would have went up in flames more than likely. I keep all the maintenance done on it and change the tires and if stuff needs fixing i fix it. But I have never had a car start to catch fire as I'm driving it. I have video proof that's what it was doing while the car was running and noone messed with it . This car year make and model shouldn't even be on the market. I already had a recall for the pcm/tcm and that didn't fix anything on the vehicle from that recall. But this problem that happened with me definitely needs to be recalled bc I wasn't near home and was by myself and I could have been hurt if my vehicle would have went up in flames.

The driver pulled to the side of the road. The driver opened the hood and noticed that the underhood had caught on fire. The fire was extinguished by the fire department. The fire department informed the driver that the fire originated behind the engine. The contact was unsure whether a fire department report was filed. The contact stated that the front end of the vehicle was significantly burned. No police report was filed. There was no injury sustained. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, where it was totaled. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 118,000.

The contact stated when she was reversing (R) out of the parking space, when she straightened the vehicle and shifted to drive (D) the vehicle independently accelerated. The contact stated that the vehicle crossed over several parking lot barriers and crashed into the front end of a parked vehicle. The contact stated that the acceleration happened so fast she was not able to depress the brake pedal and she did not notice how fast she was moving. It was unknown if any lights illuminated. The vehicle crashed into the front end of the parked vehicle. The contact's driver's side hood and grill were crushed, and her driver's side wheels well and fender were also crushed and damaged. The driver's side door was badly damaged and could not be opened. The contact was transported by ambulance to a hospital. She said she was treated for a bruise on her left knee, she had no other injuries. The parked vehicle was unoccupied. The police were on the scene but did not file a report. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot and the contact stated that her insurance company later called to advise her that the vehicle was a total loss. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 104,000.

I took it back to dealer and they said they couldn’t find anything. The car would loose power and the above message would come up. Could happen when driving ar after take off. Problem has not been reproduced. Dealer said wire shorted out and burnt. Check engine light came on it also read message on dash stating to restart at park at zero speed.service transmissions,service park brake also would not dtart. This is about the deventh time this has happened in less then a year

I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden my car wanted me to shift into P to park while i was still in drive. My vehicle was hit passenger side as well in a hit and run incident. I pulled over and waited awhile and called the police then brought my vehicle home because it was not totaled. I tried to get coverage from my GEICO insurance but they were unable to help. Then February i was in a rear end collision from another gentleman on the way home from work. My vehicle was being repaired for a month and some change until i got it back. At first I thought it was the battery or alternator going bad, but a diagnostic test showed normal for both. I’ve tried different gas thinking it could be bad gasoline. When the vehicle shuts down it’s difficult to get it to restart. Now it is saying service 4WD which i believe is something with the transfer case because its not the axels or differentials which I had replaced from Jeff D Ambrosia. Looking for assistance to get my vehicle driving safe and possible reimbursement or help, I have all my receipts from what has been done to my vehicle since I first bought it in 06/20/20 For my birthday present. There is a lot of more information that i want an advisor or assistance to know as far as what i have already paid out of my own pocket with dates and receipts (battery, axels ,rear diffs , alternator , etc) and try to diagnose it from there. I know about the mechanisms myself and my buddy who is an authorized mechanic. I am sure that after hearing all the difficulties and safety issues i have had i may be able to get some serious help and even possibly with my right side of my vehicle ! Thanks

UNFORTUNATELY, I DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES. I JUST WANTED TO EXPRESS MY CONCERNS. WE DID TEST THE CAR AND THERE APARENTLY NO FAILURE OF THE AIR BAG SYSTEM, SO MAYBE NO PROBLEM.
