DURING ROUTINE INSPECTION THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT RUBBER BRAKE HOSE WAS FOUND TO HAVE A BUBBLE. THE BUBBLE IS AT THE BODY SIDE CONNECTION WHERE THE METAL IS CRIMPED TO THE RUBBER. SECOND VEHICLE IN OUR FLEET TO EXHIBIT A PASSENGER SIDE FRONT BRAKE HOSE FAILURE. PICTURES AND FAILED HOSE AVAILABLE IF REQUIRED.

PASSENGER SIDE FRONT BRAKE HOSE RUPTURE. VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN ON REGULAR POLICE PATROL. BRAKE PEDAL BECAME SPONGY AND BRAKE FLUID LOW WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. BRAKE FLUID WAS FOUND LEAKING FROM A SPLIT AT THE BODY SIDE CONNECTION WHERE THE METAL IS CRIMPED TO THE RUBBER. THE DAMAGED HOSE IS IN OUR POSSESSION FOR REVIEW IF NECESSARY.
