I was going up a steep driveway. I made it to the top, then needed to get back down. I put my car in reverse and proceeded to back down the driveway. Suddenly and without warning, my brakes and steering went out. The whole car shut off and the battery light turned on. Not being able to brake or steer, my car rolled down the driveway into a fence before coming to a stop. This caused extensive damage to my vehicle.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2014 Ford Mustang verdict →
