SUBJECT: URGENT COMPLAINT: Deceptive Practices/Misrepresentation & Services Not Rendered (Woodhouse Ford of Omaha) I. Actionable Safety Issue Summary This complaint concerns fraudulent billing and dangerous misrepresentation by Woodhouse Ford of Omaha, which claimed a vehicle's 3rd rack and pinion system was "safe" on 2/19/2026 after a known safety issue, following a previous failure. They further charged $219.22 for unrendered/improper ABS programing repairs that was not successful because the electric rack and pinion is defective on 3/5/2026 and fabricated invoice records to shift liability. III. Nature of the Dispute 1.Safety Hazard/Misrepresentation (2/19/2026): Service Manager Jeremy Sullivan and Tech Anthony Rubio stated the vehicle’s rack and pinion was "safe" despite a prior failure. This misrepresentation has left me with a vehicle that has had the rack and pinion fail or require replacement three times in under a year. 2.Services Not Rendered (3/5/2026): Charged $219.22 for "programming the ABS module" which was not rendered or not performed correctly. 3.Fabricated Documentation: Woodhouse Ford created fraudulent service invoices stating I diagnosed the ABS fault and declined further diagnosis. This is an attempt to evade liability for ongoing, dangerous defects. IV. Regulatory Violations & Requested Action The described actions violate consumer protection laws, including: •Dodd-Frank UDAAP (12 USC § 5536): Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices. •Fair Credit Billing Act (15 USC § 1666): Billing error/services not received. •Regulation E (12 CFR 1005.11): Procedures for resolving errors. A PRIOR COMPLAINT HAS BEEN MADE RELATIVE TO THIS VEHICLES STEERING ON OR ABOUT 30 DAYS PRIOR TO A SERIOUS ACCIDENT WHICH OCCURRED TO THE STEERING. ENROUTE TO MY EMPLOYMENT. AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR APPROX 5 MIN INTO MY DRIVE I TURNED AROUND IN A LOCAL DRIVEWAY TO PROCEED BACK TO MY RESIDENCE ON A STRAIGHT PAVED HIGHWAY WITH WET, DARK, DOWN-GRADE CONDITIONS THE VEHICLES STEERING INDICATOR LIGHTS SUDDENLY CAME ON AND THE VEHICLES STEERING TURNED SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT WITH HARDLY NO BRAKING ABILITY CAUSING MY VEH TO LEAVE THE ROADWAY TRAVELING ON SLICK WET GRASS DOWN-HILL 150' FT. STRIKING SEVERAL TREES CAUSING SERIOUS PERMANENT INJURIES FRACTURING MY RIGHT FEMUR AND HIP, ALONG WITH SIGNIFICANT HEAD INJURIES TO MY FOREHEAD. (1) DRIVER OCCUPANT. ITS BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE I HAVE HAD MY CAR AND I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED BY FORD THAT I HAVE A RECALL. NOT BY PHONE, EMAIL, OR EVEN IN PERSON. THE ONLY REASON I KNOW I HAVE THREE IS BECAUSE OF MY FAMILY MEMBER WHO NOTIFIED ME. I HAVE CALLED MULTIPLE FORD DEALERSHIPS TO COMPLAIN AND GET IT FIXED BUT THEY DON'T SEEM TO WANT TO HELP. EVERY TIME I GO OR CALL THEY TAKE MY NUMBER AND THAT IS IT. SO I JUST KEEP GOING TRUSTING THEY WILL CALL ME BACK. AND THIS WEEK MY CAR STARTS TO HAVE TROUBLES AND MY TRANSMISSION HARD SHIFTS INTO SECOND GEAR AND I DAMAGE THE FRONT AND BUMPER OF MY CAR. I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC AND HE SAYS THE PROBLEM COMES FROM THE RECALLED PART. AND NOW MY CAR IS PARKED UNTIL I CAN GET IT FIXED AND I HAVE CALLED FORD AND THEY WONT HELP.

I PURCHASED A NEW-TO-ME 2014 FORD FUSION FROM GERMAIN FORD IN COLUMBUS OHIO ON 2/2/18. ON THE 2ND DAY I HAD THE CAR THERE WAS A LIGHT SNOW STORM, A FEW INCHES, I AM A WONDERFUL DRIVER WITH A CLEAN RECORD. I WENT TO PULL OUT OF MY STREET AND I LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR. I THOUGHT IT WAS ICE UNTIL I STOPPED AT A LIGHT & MY WHEELS STARTED SPINNING AND I COULD HARDLY MAINTAIN CONTROL. I FELT LIKE THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TAKING OVER AND I WAS FIGHTING IT AS I KEPT SLIDING. THIS WENT ON THE ENTIRE TWO MILES TO WORK. I'D NEVER BEEN MORE TERRIFIED. I'VE DRIVEN IN SNOW AND ICE FOR 20 YEARS AND THIS IS MY 6TH FORD AND I HAD NEVER BEEN SO AFRAID OF A CAR. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS A ONE TIME ISSUE, MAYBE IT REALLY WAS JUST A STRANGE ONE TIME THING? BUT ON SUNDAY 3/25/18 IT WAS RAINING HERE IN COLUMBUS AND I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 40-45 MPH ON A WET ROAD AND MY CAR STARTED ACTING LIKE IT DID IN THE SNOW, BUT THIS TIME I LOST TOTAL CONTROL OF THE CAR TC CAME ON AND ONCE AGAIN I COULD NOT CONTROL MY CAR AND THE WHEEL JERKED TO THE RIGHT CAUSING US TO SPIN OUT OF CONTROL. THE BACK PASSENGER TIRE HIT A CURB, WE SPUN AROUND AND THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE HIT THE CURB AND WE WENT INTO A GRASSY AREA COMING PRETTY CLOSE TO A POLE AND AN APARTMENT BLDG. I ENDED UP WITH A FLAT TIRE, BENT RIM, I NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT, THE PAINT IS SCRATCHED UNDER MY CAR, AND I NEED A NEW BARING ON THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE. ALSO - I FOUND OUT THERE WAS AROUND 5 INCHES OF WATER IN MY TRUNK DUE TO A BROKEN SEAL. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALER & I BEGGED THEM TO FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG. RIGHT NOW THEY CLAIM NOTHING IS WRONG BUT THEY ARE FIXING THE LEAK & THE DAMAGE. I PAID FOR A NEW TIRE. I AM BEYOND TERRIFIED TO DRIVE THE CAR AGAIN. TL* THE CONTACT RENTED A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING SOUTHBOUND AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE TRAVELING NORTHBOUND MADE A U-TURN AND CRASHED INTO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS, AND SIDE PASSENGER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND EMITTED A SUBSTANCE AND DEBRIS. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS SPUN AROUND. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED FACIAL INJURIES, BRUISES TO THE BODY, AND A CONCUSSION, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S FACE WAS BRUISED WHEN THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED WITH FORCE FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG AND FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. MY SON AND HIS FRIEND WERE DRIVING HIS 2014 FUSION ON A TWO LANE ROAD THAT MAKES A 90 DEGREE TURN TO THE RIGHT WHEN HIS POWER STEERING WENT OUT. AS HE CAME TO THE TURN HE WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL AND THE VEHICLE WENT STRAIGHT AND LEFT THE ROADWAY. THE VEHICLE STRUCK A SMALL TREE AND SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT FENDER AND THE UNDER CARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE. AN ACCIDENT REPORT WAS MADE. WE WERE ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR HOME WITHOUT ANY POWER STEERING AND I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THE NEXT DAY. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL FOR THE POWER STEERING ASSIST AND THAT THE COULD PUT THE VEHICLE ON A COMPUTER TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. HOWEVER, IT WOULD COST ME $135.00 PER HOUR FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND IT COULD TAKE 2-6 HOURS. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT IF THE POWER STEERING ASSIST MODULE NEEDED REPLACED IT WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $2,000.00. THE VEHICLE HAS 50,000 MILES ON IT AT THIS TIME. I DROVE THE CAR BACK HOME AND CONTACTED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS. IT HAS BEEN PAST THE 15 WORKING DAY PERIOD FOR A REPRESENTATIVE TO CONTACT ME AND I HAVE STILL HEAR NOTHING FROM FORD. TODAY I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP.

ON 7/7/15 WHILE ON THE 99 GRAND-PARKWAY FREEWAY MY FORD FUSION SUDDENLY STARTED DRIFTING AND WASN'T ALLOWING ME TO TURN BACK IN THE LANE CAUSING MY CAR TO SPIN OUT AND LOSE CONTROL AND CRASH INTO A BARRIER. SHORTLY AFTER I FILED A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE AND WITH FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 7/11/15 CLAIMING THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND A MECHANICAL FAILURE. FORD MOTOR MENTIONED THE GENERAL COUNSEL WOULD REACH OUT IN 15 BUSINESS DAYS AND THERE WERE NO CURRENT RECALLS ON FILE. HOWEVER, SHORTLY AFTER I FILED THAT COMPLAINT FORD SENT A VEHICLE RECALL REGARDING POWER STEERING CORROSION (INTERESTING TIMING). I HAVE ESCALATED MULTIPLE TIMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND STILL NO LUCK OR CLARIFICATION OF WHY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A LETTER FROM GENERAL COUNSEL.
