ON MARCH 30TH, MY ABS LIGHTS CAME ON MY VEHICLE. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. I WAS TOLD NOT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. MY CAR WAS SERVICED FOR THE WHEEL BEARINGS AND ABS BRAKE SYSTEM $1085. AFTER PICKING UP MY VEHICLE, I RECEIVED A DIAGNOSTIC REPORT FROM ONSTAR STATING THAT MY VEHICLE STILL HAD BRAKE AND ABS PROBLEMS. I PICKED UP THE CAR FROM THE DEALERSHIP. TWO DAYS LATER WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH MY BRAKES WENT OUT COMPLETELY OUT AND I CRASHED INTO A VAN.

GM DID NOTHING, BLAMED ISSUE ON WHEE BEARING.

TL* THE CONTACT LEASED A 2014 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED AND THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NECK AND BACK INJURIES WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 14V252000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100.
