TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 HYUNDAI TUCSON EQUIPPED WITH KUMHO TIRES, TIRE LINE: SOLUS KH25, TIRE SIZE: 225/45R17. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT AND THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE MEDIAN. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NECK AND BACK INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND DECLARED AS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
