WEDNESDAY AUGUST 7, 2019, I PARKED MY CAR IN A PARKING LOT IN FULL SUN AT 11:30 A.M. WHEN I CAME BACK OUT TO MY CAR AND GOT IN, I NOTICED SMOKE COMING UP FROM WHAT LOOKED TO BE FROM THE FLOOR ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. I'M NOT SURE WHAT I USED TO EXTINGUISH IT AS I WAS ON EMERGENCY MODE. I DO REMEMBER THAT I MADE SURE IT WASN'T FLAMMABLE. THE SUN WAS COMING THROUGH THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. IT APPEARS THAT THE SUN WAS REFLECTING LIGHT FROM A MIRROR AT THE FRONT OF THE BOTTOM SEAT. IT WAS THE PART THAT WOULD BE AT A PASSENGER'S LOWER LEGS. THERE WAS A BLACK SMOKING OVAL HOLE THAT WAS DEEP ENOUGH THAT IT PENETRATED NOT ONLY THE LEATHER BUT THROUGH THE FOAM. I DIDN'T SEE A FLAME. THIS OCCURRED IN NASHVILLE, TN.
