TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MINS AND PARKING THE VEHICLE, A LOUD BANGING NOISE, STEAM AND SMOKE WAS PRESENT COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THAT THE PLASTIC RADIATOR HOSE CONNECTOR HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 72 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, VEERED TO THE LEFT, AND CRASHED INTO THE PLASTIC DIVIDERS. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD LOW OIL AND THE CENTRAL MODULE NEEDED TO BE RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 32,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
